Our Community Partnerships programme is designed to benefit external not-for-profit organisations, which work in partnership with the College. Organisations may be existing partners of the College or seeking to develop new partnerships, which the Foundation may facilitate.
We expect to make community partnership grant awards totalling up to £100,000 per annum (year ending 31 March), with decisions taken at the quarterly Board meetings of trustees.
Please note that interested organisations should not submit unsolicited applications.
For this programme our specific priorities are:
- Creating equal access to learning opportunities
- Taking innovative approaches to learning
- Transforming educational practice within the College and wider learning sector.
The Community Partnerships grants scheme will fund
- Research and feasibility studies
- Pilot projects/activities that innovate and deliver leading educational practice
- Resources such as curriculum materials
- Project worker staff time
For a full description of our grant making criteria for this scheme can be found here: Community Partnerships guidance August17
We are unable fund capital costs such as purchase of premise or vehicle and are unlikely to make grants for project funding that will replace existing sources.
We expect to make grant awards totalling up to £100,000 per annum (year ending 31 March), for minimum of £10,000 to a maximum of £70,000, except where an exceptional case is made.
Where the maximum value of awards has already been committed in one financial year, the Director will advise interested applicants of when the next tranche of funding will become available.
Please contact our Director Pauline Radcliffe for an initial discussion about your project idea before proceeding to develop your project.
